Notice of Public HearingA public hearing will be held on November 4, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room of the Council on Aging, located at 67 Dexter Lane, Rochester, Massachusetts, regarding remanded proceedings on the application of Featherbed Development Corporation, which is seeking a so-called Comprehensive Permit for 144 units of housing under the provisions of G.L. c. 40B, §§20-23 for property located on Featherbed Lane, Assessors Plan 46, Lots 22 and 35. -- Richard J. Manning, Jr., Chairman The Rochester Council on Aging is made up of nine citizens of the Town of Rochester who are appointed by the Board of Selectmen. To qualify as a senior citizen you must be age 59 or over. The COA meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 9:00 am. The Director of the Rochester Council on Aging is Sharon Lally. The FRIENDS of the Rochester Seniors provided funding to furnish the interior of the facility. We are so fortunate to have this lovely center for the programs and services for Rochester’s senior citizens! We offer all types of information, programs, and services of interest to seniors at the Senior Center, and we look forward to serving you in some way, as we continue to grow and to move forward in our mission of meeting the needs and interests of all Rochester seniors and their families.
