By-Law Review Committee
The Zoning By-Law Review Committee is an ad-hoc committee, established by the Zoning Board of Appeals in September of 2023. The committee is charged with:
- Completing a comprehensive review of the zoning by-laws as they exist,
- Determining the effectiveness of the existing by-law,
- Clean up the grammar, punctuation, numbering, syntax, etc. throughout the document,
- Work on ways to improve consistent enforcement of the by-laws and support the Zoning Enforcement Officer and the Select Board in their efforts to manage enforcement effectively,
- Receive and consider input and suggestions from residents, businesses, and town officials, and propose changes to the by-law to the Planning Board for their consideration.
