Textile Recycling

Beginning November 1, the MA DEP is banning all textiles in any trash in Massachusetts.  To meet the new textile recycling and recovery regulations, the Town of Rochester has entered into an agreement with CMRK, Inc., who will service the town for all textile recycling and recovery at no additional cost to the town.  Textiles for recycling can be dropped off at the blue textile recycling bins placed at the Rochester Highway Barn on Ryder Road, the Council on Aging back parking lot, and to the right of the Rochester Fire Station on Hartley Road.  In addition, Town residents can arrange for home pick-ups of textiles and housewares by emailing pickups@cmrkne.com or by calling or texting "PICKUP" to 508-466-4590.
